SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister of the Sanaa Government for Defense and Security Affairs, Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed that the Saudi-led coalition countries returned to using the humanitarian file as card to obtain political gains.
“The humanitarian file is a popular entitlement that has nothing to do with political and military negotiation,” Al-Ruwaishan said, but the international community is still using the file as a negotiating card until now.
He explained in a press statement on Saturday, “We did not see clear seriousness in separating the Saudi position from the American desire, and this delay will not lead to a result.”
Al-Ruwaishan pointed out that “the American agenda looks at Yemen within the international scene and its goals in Yemen do not deviate from its view of the conflict in Ukraine and others, and seeks to employ aggression against Yemen.”
“It is out of the question or logical for the Yemeni citizen or even for the outside observer that Saudi Arabia presents itself as a mediator after all its crimes and aggression,” he added.
Lieutenant General Al-Ruwaishan reiterated the readiness of the Yemeni armed forces for the required position in the event of continued Saudi-American procrastination.
