Defense Minister calls on coalition to seize opportunity of revolution’s leader

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Minister of Defense in Sanaa government, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, called on the Saudi-led coalition’s countries to seize an opportunity given by the leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

“The Yemeni armed forces have set their feet on the right path, thanks to the patience and steadfastness of the people,” the minister said in a news statement, stressing that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain, but rather resulted in victory, pride, dignity, sovereignty and independence.

“Today, thanks to Allah, we proudly possess our sovereign national decision, and we have in our hands the successful means and methods and the honest will of faith that provides us to always be free and independent,” Al-Atefi added.

He pointed out that Yemen, at this stage, is reaping the fruits of the stances of steadfastness and the wisdom of the leadership, which, with its honorable stances and great principles, has created a generation that knows nothing but the path of glory and achieving the impossible.
