Hodeida port witnesses active movement of merchant ships

HODEIDA, Feb. 17(YPA) – The port of Hodeida, western Yemen, is witnessing an active movement of commercial ships that arrive successively at the port after easing restrictions on their entry, which lasted for eight sequent years.

According to a disclosure issued by the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation, the ships moored at the docks of the port of Hodeida on Thursday are as follows: six ships loaded with diesel, sugar, flour, wheat, edible oil, and corn.

The Corporation also indicated that there other six vessels loaded with oil derivatives are waiting offshore for docking, while other four ships are expected to arrive carrying foodstuffs and goods containers.
