Masked gunmen close main streets in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 13 (YPA) – A military force belonging to the Saudi-led coalition closed on Monday one of the main streets in Mansoura district, in the center of Aden, south of Yemen.

Media sources reported that a leader affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia, accompanied by three military vehicles carrying a number of gunmen armed, suddenly cut off the main street to buy from one of the hookahs shops, without revealing his name of the leader.

The sources confirmed that the masked gunmen caused panic among passers-by, amid a state of resentment and discontent in the city.
