SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – The Minister of Water and Environment, Abdulraqib Al-Shormani, and the Deputy Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Yemen, Raf Wehbe, discussed on Monday aspects of partnership and coordination to provide water and sanitation services in Yemen.
The meeting touched on the ICRC delegation’s plan for the year 2023 in the field of water and sanitation, and priorities for work during the coming period.
The Minister of Water and Environment expressed a desire to collaborate with the ICRC delegation to support water authorities and institutions in alleviating the suffering of citizens due to continued aggression and siege.
For his part, Wehbe confirmed the ICRC delegation in Yemen is committed to working with the Ministry of Water and Environment to implement interventions in the water and sanitation sectors.
