ADEN, Feb. 09 (YPA) – Hundreds of people came out on Thursday in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition, in an angry demonstration condemning the continued detention of detainees in Emirati prisons.
Protesters from the supporters of the “southern movement” lined the streets of Crater area, demanding the release of detainees from the sons of Aden, headed by the leader of the “revolutionary movement” Asaad Jafar Sakina, who was kidnapped since the end of last December.
The demonstrators chanted anti-coalition chants and slogans, calling for revealing fate of detainees and forcibly disappeared in the UAE’s secret prisons since 2015.
