Civil defense puts out fire erupted in drug stores in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Civil Defense teams in Hodeida province at dawn on Thursday were able to put out a fire that broke out in stores of medical supplies and medicines belonging to “Save the Children” organization in Al-Hawk district.

Director of the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in the province, Jaber Al-Razihi, explained that the civil defense teams rushed to the fire place, extinguished it and prevented it from spreading to nearby shops and homes.

He pointed out that the fire, which was caused by an electrical short circuit, caused huge material losses, without causing any human injuries.
