Yemeni riyal recovers in southern provinces, stabilizes in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate regained, on Thursday, part of its recovery against foreign currencies in exchange shops in Aden and Hadramout provinces and the rest of the areas under the control of the government formed by coalition countries, where the purchase price of one dollar was 1238 riyals and the sale was 1242 riyals, the purchase price of the Saudi Riyal was 329 riyals, and the sale was 330 riyals.

Observers of the economic affairs in Yemen said that the financial policy of the National Salvation government in Sana’a proved successful in maintaining the stability of the local exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies, especially the dollar and the Saudi Riyal, where the purchase price of one dollar stabilized at 545 riyals, the sale of 555 riyals per dollar, the purchase price of one Saudi Riyal at 145 riyals and the sale of 146 riyals.
