Relatively cold weather to be expected over coming 24 hours

SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected relatively cold weather during the coming 24 hours.

The center said, in its weather forecast Saturday, that the mountain heights of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda may be affected with the cold skies.

The weather in the coastal areas will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain on parts of the southern and southwestern coasts, with the winds being light to moderate in speed of 18 knots in the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

Clear to partially cloudy weather will prevail over the desert areas, with light to moderate winds, while the atmosphere of the Socotra archipelago be partly cloudy.

The center alerted sea-goers and fishermen in the southern Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and around the Socotra archipelago of sea turbulence and high waves.
