HADRAMOUT, Feb. 03 (YPA) – Pro-Abu Dhabi components are currently rearranging their ranks to counter Saudi infiltrations in the province, according to reports from Hadramout province in eastern Yemen.
Media activists loyal to the STC said that leaders of Hadramout Tribes Alliance held a meeting on Thursday in the Thula area led by the Secretary-General of the Alliance, Omar Saeed Bashkar.
The activists added that the meeting discussed how to rearrange the Alliance, which was hacked and attracted some of its leaders by Saudi Arabia during the last period.
They explained that the assembled dignitaries of the Hadramawt coast approved the call to organize the general meeting of the Hadramout tribes’ alliance in the near future.
In addition to the need to motivate society in the province to confront what they described as “plans aimed at subjugating Hadramout.”
The meeting comes in light of Saudi moves to block Abu Dhabi’s moves to control the Hadramout valley and desert, to expel armed groups affiliated with the Islah Party from the province.
The Saudi media had revealed last Wednesday, that the new “Shield of the Nation” forces announced by Rashad Al-Alimi, in service of Riyadh, will be deployed in the valley and desert of Hadramout, and will work to expel the forces loyal to Abu Dhabi from the region.
Those statements come in the context of Saudi intention as it was expressed by Saudi spokesmen, who said “Hadramout is a Saudi national security”.
