Southern commander loyal to UAE killed in Hodeida

SANAA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – A southern commander in UAE-backed militias was killed on Wednesday in the south of Hodeidah province under mysterious circumstances.

Southern sources said that the leader “Ammar Al-Shabhi” from the sons of Yafaa tribes in Lahj province was killed by unknown fire west of Hays district.

The sources confirmed that al-Shabhi was in a leading position in the Control and Inspection Department in the Southern Amaliqa Brigades.
