Abyan witnesses tribal mobilization against STC

ABYAN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Abyan province witnessed on Sunday new tribal mobilizations in preparation for the escalation against Southern Transitional Council (STC).

Southern media, citing tribal sources, reported that Sheikh Hassan Sheikh, received hundreds of fighters from the tribes of the central regions at a recently developed camp in Al-Arqoub during the past hours, noting that Sheikh is preparing to cut the Transitional supply lines in preparation for attacking STC militias.

This comes a day after the Transitional government tried to avoid the repercussions of its militia’s attack on tribes of Maodiya.
