Huge looting operation targets STC militia camp in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 28 (YPA) – A large-scale looting operation affected on Saturday the warehouses of the largest camps of UAE-backed factions in the southern Yemeni city of Aden, Media sources revealed.

The sources said that the leadership of the “Victory Brigade” camp of the” Transitional Council ” revealed the looting of large quantities of weapons from its warehouses located in Khor Maksar district near Aden International Airport.

This comes in conjunction with the occurrence of three explosions in the vicinity of Aden International Airport near the camp.

The sources pointed to the looting of weapons stores, which may be caused by the fears of the leaders of the “Southern Transitional Council” of new Saudi directives to hand over the camps, the main stronghold of the council, to armed militias affiliated with Saudi Arabia as part of arrangements to limit the influence of STC in the southern provinces.
