Yemeni Center for Human Rights condemns coalition crimes in Hodeida, Saada

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni Center for Human Rights on Thursday condemned the Saudi-led coalition attacks that targeted last Tuesday civilians in their homes and farms in Al-Jarrahi district of Hodeida province.

In a statement issued today, the center considered the targeting of civilians a war crime that is part of a series of crimes committed by the coalition in Yemen since March 2015, and a clear violation of the Stockholm Agreement.

The center’s statement also condemned the coalition’s artillery shelling on the border areas of Saada province, which left victims among civilians, as part of the daily crimes and violations committed by the coalition in several provinces.

The statement called on the United Nations to condemn these crimes, take a serious stance to stop the aggression, lift the siege, and uphold the right of the Yemeni people to self-determination.

The Center called on the Islamic and Arab peoples, governments, organizations and free people of the world to condemn the coalition crimes and move on various levels to stop the crimes of the Saudi regime and lift the siege on Yemen.
