Violent clashes erupt in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – Violent clashes broke out on Thursday between tribal gunmen in Shabwa province amid a dangerous growth of tribal revolts in the oil province of southern Yemen.

Sources said that the clashes erupted between the militants of AL-Sahak and Laqit tribes in Osailan district, resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides.

The sources added that the military and security forces in the region are monitoring the confrontations without interference.
