Cold weather expected to continue across parts of Yemeni provinces

SANAA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The cold weather is expected to continue across parts of Yemeni provinces during the coming 24 hours, the National Center of Meteorology said.

The center affirmed in weather forecast that the cold wave would hit Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Al-Bayda, Saada, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Ibb, Abyan, Hadramout, Shabwa and Marib.

It also expected active to very fast winds on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a maximum speed of more than 30 knots, working on sea turbulence and high waves.

The center called on citizens and farmers to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
