Armed clashes reputed among coalition factions in Mocha

TAIZ, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Armed clashes reputed among factions backed by the Saudi-led coalition forces in the coastal city of Mocha of Taiz province.

Local sources said that a faction of al-Amaliqa Brigades” clashed with gunmen affiliated with Tariq Afash, following disputes over the theft of royalties imposed on the central “Al-Kharj” market for Qat.

A state of panic and stampede done between market’s sellers and citizens as a result of clashes, which led to civilian casualties, in addition to damage to citizens’ property.

It should be noted that the city of Mocha is witnessing a state of security chaos and continuous clashes between the coalition-affiliated factions that control the city.
