Nasrallah: Martyr Soleimani’s influence will remain for generations
BEIRUT, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on Tuesday described the martyr, Qassem Soleimani, as a martyr who transcends space and time, affirming that “his influence will remain for generations to come.”
According to Al-Mayadeen TV channel, Nasrallah said, during his speech at the “Soleimani International Prize for Resistance Literature” distribution ceremony, that “the martyr Soleimani was a great leader in the axis that fought ISIS.”
He affirmed that “the martyr Soleimani raised moral strength in this axis and was a great leader in the fight against Israel.”
Regarding the Lebanese issue, Nasrallah expressed his understanding of the pressures of some references to elect a president of the republic, calling at the same time to “pay attention to stopping the sectarian incitement.”
On the electricity crisis in Lebanon, Nasrallah said that the offer of Iranian fuel to Lebanon is still valid, confirming that “the Americans are the ones preventing the implementation of the offer.”
