Meteorological center alerts regarding cold weather

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected cold and relatively cold weather in several provinces of Yemen during the coming 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin on Monday that the cold weather, accompanied with scattered showers, would target the northwest highlands and parts of the eastern and southern coasts.

It center called on citizens to take the necessary precautions from the cold weather, calling on farmers to harvest their agricultural crops.

The center warned motorists on mountainous roads and slopes of low horizontal visibility due to fog.
It stated that the lowest temperatures in some meteorological stations reached 4.2 in Dhamar, 5.4 in Amran, 5.9 in Sanaa, and 7.4 in Saada.
