Angry protesters denounce crimes of kidnapping in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 08 (YPA) – An angry mass rally was organized on Sunday in Al-Shamayatain district of Taiz province to denounce the horrific crime of kidnapping committed in the province.

In the rally, the participants called for local authority to hand over killers of the merchant Qassem Al-Zubaidi in the city of Al-Turbah.

The protesters demanded the speedy transfer of the perpetrators to the Public Prosecution office, bringing them to trial and imposing the most severe penalties against the killers.

They warned the security services of the Islah militants against manipulating the case and, especially after the events revealed the inability of those security and intelligence services for 4 months to reveal the reasons for the disappearance of Al-Zubaidi merchant.

A gang consisting of 4 individuals, including a woman, kidnapped and killed the coal trader in the city, Qasim Al-Zubaidi, 4 months ago, and dismembered his body, until one of the perpetrators exposed and reported the crime.
