Running out of fuel in Taiz’s Al-Thawra Hospital threatens lives of patients

TAIZ, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Al-Thawra General Hospital in the city of Taiz was out of service on Sunday due to running out of fuel, threatening the lives of patients.

A statement issued by the Hospital’s administration stated that the depletion of diesel in the hospital would threatened the lives of hundreds of patients.

On December 19, Hospital Authority issued a distress call to Aden government backed by the coalition to prevent the hospital from stopping providing its medical services due to running out of fuel and accumulating debts without any interference from the authorities loyal to coalition.

Al-Thawra General Hospital in Taiz is the largest hospital that benefits many of the province’s districts.

The city of Taiz under the control of the forces loyal to the coalition are suffering from a major deterioration in public services, in conjunction with a security breakdown, and a complete absence of the “government’s” obligations, amid a wide spread of armed manifestations.
