9 people died, others injured due to house collapse in Bayda

BAYDA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Nine people died and others were injured on Sunday, as a result of the collapse of a house in Bayda province.

Local sources reported that an old house collapsed in Al-Sharaf area, destroying several houses next to it, killing nine people, including children, and injuring others.

The sources added that the rescue teams rushed to the scene, but arrived too late, noting that all the wounded were transferred to Al-Thawra General Hospital in Bayda for treatment.
