IBB, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, affirmed the keenness of the revolutionary leadership to improve services and meet the aspirations of citizens by strengthening partnership with society.
This came an expanded meeting with Ibb governor Abd al-Wahed Salah and a number of academic, educational, youth and media leaders, business and finance men in Ibb province.
He pointed out the need to strengthen alignment to face current challenges, search for solutions, and not stop at any obstacles.
Al-Houthi drew attention to the importance of the contribution of societal elites to strengthening popular oversight and educating society about national issues, primarily economic and security aspects, and strengthening steadfastness in the face of aggression.
The meeting discussed the most important challenges resulting from the aggression and the blockade, including not paying the salaries of employees from the country’s oil resources, not allowing the arrival of ships loaded with oil derivatives, medicines and basic commodities, and preventing patients from traveling abroad for treatment.
It stressed the need for everyone to feel the responsibility in serving the country and citizens and actively contributing to the process of building, development and advancing the country.
