PM lays wreath at tomb of martyr Al-Sammad, his companions

SANAA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, on Sunday visited the tomb of the martyr President, Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, in Al-Sabeen Square, in the capital Sanaa.

During the visit, the Prime Minister, along with a number of ministers, laid a wreath at the tomb of the martyr Al-Samad and his companions on the occasion of the martyr’s anniversary 1444 AH, and they read Al-Fatihah on the soul of the martyr Al-Samad and his companions.

In addition, the Prime Minister and his fellow ministers visited Al-Sammad and Al-Khamseen cemeteries of martyrs and read Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs in the two cemeteries and all the martyrs of the homeland who were martyred in defense of the nation and its legitimate right in the face of the aggressors and their destructive projects that are not limited to Yemen, but also target the entire Arab and Islamic nation.

The Prime Minister and ministers also visited the Presidential Protection Martyrs Exhibition, which includes photographs and an introductory profile of the martyrs.

The Prime Minister made a media statement following the visits, in which he described the celebration of the annual anniversary of the martyrs as a solemn moment in the life of the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that the state of stability and calm that the country and the citizen enjoy is thanks to the sacrifices of the honorable martyrs.
