Meteorology Center expects very cold weather in 5 provinces

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Friday cold to very cold weather during the night and early morning in several provinces and very strong winds that may cause sea turbulence in the next 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center said that the weather will be cold to very cold in Bayda, Amran, Dhamar, Sanaa and Saada.

The center pointed to active winds that reach a maximum speed of 10-20 knots over the southern Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, western Gulf of Aden and eastern Socotra archipelago, warning fishermen and sea-goers of sea turbulence and high waves.

It warned the elderly, children, patients, workers during the late hours of the night and early morning, travelers and farmers of the cold weather, calling for taking the necessary precautions to prevent themselves.
