9 thousand and 700 warfare remnants of coalition destroyed in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – The Executive Center for Dealing With Mines destroyed on Thursday more than 9 thousand and 700 military objects from the remnants of coalition in Hodeida province.

The destruction included mines and military objects from the remnants of coalition that were discovered in areas south of Hodeida during the past months.

The director of monitoring and follow-up at the Executive Center, Abdul Ghani al-Dailami, explained that the destruction operation included cluster bombs and mines that contaminated the suburbs of Hodeida city and the southern districts, pointing out that the center is fulfilling its humanitarian duty with the minimum available resources.

The media officer at the center, Abdullah Shaeb, called on international and humanitarian organizations to support the center in introducing the necessary devices and equipment to carry out its duty in clearing areas contaminated with coalition remnants of mines, cluster bombs and other explosives.
