New price control campaign continues in Raymah

RAYMAH, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The Bureau of Industry and Trade in Raymah Governorate carried out a new field campaign to control prices in a number of centers and districts.

Mohammed al-Montaser, director of the Bureau of Industry and Trade, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the field campaign, carried out by the office in the center of Al-Jabin, aims to oblige wholesalers and retailers to publish the new unified price list for food and basic commodities.

He stressed the importance of the campaign to strengthen control and follow up the development situation on all goods, and to control violations of fraud and monopoly of goods and manipulation of new prices.

Al-Montaser called on wholesalers and retailers to commit to selling at the specified prices.

He further called on citizens to report any violation in prices, in a way that contributes to taking legal action against violators in accordance with the law.
