Islah militants chase young people protesting on streets of Seiyun

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 12 (YPA) – Forces of the First Military Region, a unit affiliated with the Islah party, chased dozens of “Youths of Anger ” in the city of Seiyun, the capital of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Sunday.

Local sources in the city confirmed that military vehicles belonging to the Islah militants launched a chasing campaign against young people in the streets of the cities of Seiyun and Al-Qatn.

This comes after the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s “Youths of Anger” organized a new round of escalation against Islah militants in Wadi Hadramout, demanding their removal from all directorates of the valley and the desert.

Last week, STCs’ supporters organized a peaceful sit-in in Wadi Hadramout, during which they were suppressed by Islah militants.
