According to media reports, the Russian army continues to target Ukrainian army positions with aerial and artillery bombardment near Bachmut (Artemovsk) in Donbass.

Ukrainian troops suffered significant losses in lives and equipment, not only in Artyomovsk, but also in neighboring Soledar, where the 93rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army is stationed.

According to news reports, two out of three battalions in the 93rd Brigade have already ceased operation and need to support their units with more troops and equipment.

Due to the incurred losses, parts of the surviving Ukrainian troops were sent to Cherkassy in the Dnipropetrovsk.
