Senior commander calls on disclosure of assassination of Al-Hammadi

TAIZ, Dec. 04 (YPA) – A son of the commander of the former “35th Brigade,” which was controlled by the Islah party in 2020, called for a quick decision on the assassination of his father, and the disclosure of the parties involved.

Zakaria Adnan Al-Hammadi, the son of the former “35th Brigade” commander, called on the local and judicial authorities in Aden to quickly show the truth and the parties behind the assassination.

He stressed that the family would not receive any condolences from individuals and institutions or from official political parties and others, or attend any celebration of the third anniversary to assassinate his father.

In a statement, Al-Hammadi renewed his demand to the Riyadh Presidential Council, and the authorities in Aden, to give the case of his father’s assassination serious follow-up, to quickly decide the case, and to apply the laws to all those involved in the assassination.

This came after Al-Hammadi was assassinated in early December 2019, amid accusations by leaders of the Islah Party, in his hometown in Al-Mawasit Bani Hammad of Al-Hujariya area.

After the incident, Islah media outlets promoted that Al-Hammadi was assassinated by his brother, considering the incident to be criminal and an “honor caes.”

The assassination of the Hammadi leader has been shrouded in mystery, especially after the assassination of a number of his companions, and the Islah Party imposed its military control over the brigade after confrontations with its recruits in August 2020, and dozens of them fled to Mocha, and joined the forces of Tariq Afash.
