STC’s military vehicles destroyed in Aden attack

ADEN, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen targeted on Wednesday two vehicles belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militant in Al-Mahfad district of Abyan province, south of Yemen.

According to local sources, the attack left dozens of militants dead and wounded.
The sources added that the gunmen surprised the vehicles while they were passing on the main road in the district, without specifying the number of victims.

Terrorist elements used explosive devices against the STC militia, after announcing military operation to take control of the districts of Abyan, which are subject to Islah Party, in early September.

The Mudiya, Ahwar and Al-Mahfad tribes of Abyan has rejected the raids on citizens’ homes, the kidnapping of some of them and taking them to secret prisons without any charges.
