Iran, Qatar confirm strengthening bilateral relations in various fields

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in a phone conversation on Monday, reviewed issues of bilateral importance.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the Iranian president congratulated the Qatari Emir for hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup and appreciated the country for successful organization of the international flagship soccer event.

President Raisi also wished success for all the teams present in Qatar World Cup.

They explored ways for expansion of bilateral ties and discussed issues of mutual interest.
