Gunmen kidnap pro-coalition security official in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped a security official of the forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, in mysterious circumstances, a local source reported on Sunday.

This comes amid escalating liquidation operations of security and military leaders in light of the growing conflict between the military wings loyal to the coalition.

Sources said that last Thursday, gunmen intercepted a car in which Brigadier General Daris Al-Gharazi was traveling, accompanied by others, in Al-Araqin area after Safer area, and they kidnapped him heading towards the desert, and leaving two other people who were with him.

Al-Gharazi, who was appointed by the pro-coalition government as director of the Political Security Agency branch in Saada province, was coming from Egypt via Sayoun airport, and then moved towards Marib province with two of his friends, and his car was intercepted in the Al-Arqin area by unknown gunmen who abducted him.

Although more than a week has passed since the kidnapping, the fate of the security official has not yet been known.
