Arrest campaign targets Islah leaders in Saudi borders

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The Saudi authorities launched on Monday a campaign of arrest targeting leaders and notables of Islah Party factions stationed on the Kingdom’s southern borders.

Military sources in the Ministry of Defense of the “government” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition said that elements following the tribal sheikh “Thiab bin Ma’eli” kidnapped Colonel “Daris al-Gharazi,” appointed by the coalition as director of the political security in Saada province.

According to the sources, the kidnapping of “Al-Gharazi” came under direct guidance from the pro-coalition intelligence leader, “Ammar Saleh,” the former chief of the National Security Agency.

This coincides with a new campaign of arrests launched by the Saudi Border Guard forces in the units of the so-called “Al-Jawf axis” deployed off the city of Najran, which are loyal to the Islah Party.

This came after the axis recruits demanded their financial dues, which the Saudi authorities stopped more than a year ago.
