Higher Education Ministry inaugurates work with public service code of conduct

SANAA, Nov. 09 (YPA) – The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, on Wednesday inaugurated the work with the Public Service Code of Conduct at the level of the Ministry and its affiliated institutions.

At the inauguration, Hazeb signed the code of conduct and directed the various sectors to work with it and implement its principles, values, and ethical and behavioral rules, pointing out that the public office is a service to people and facilitating and simplifying procedures for them.

Hazeb noted the importance of the code of conduct in consolidating the principles, values, rules and professional behavior of employees in public service units in a way that enhances their sense of responsibility.

He directed the preparation of a mechanism to follow up the level of implementation of the rules and principles contained in the code of conduct in the various activities and tasks in the ministry.
