Armed attack targets home of leader in pro-coalition party in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 06 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen attacked on Sunday the house of journalist Fakhr Al-Azab, a leading member of “the Nasserist Unionist People’s Organization” loyal to Saudi-led coalition, in the areas under the control of Islah Party in central Taiz city, southwest Yemen.

The journalist Al-Azab confirmed that unknown gunmen shot directly at his home in Sina area of Al-Mudhafar district, controlled by Islah militants, without mentioning any human or material losses.

Al-Azab explained that a bullet penetrated the window of the house, indicating that his wife miraculously escaped from it.

The Islah armed gangs are causing insecurity state in the areas they control in the city of Taiz, posing a clear threat to the peace of citizens.
