STC militias deploy in one of Abyan districts

ABYAN, Nov. 06 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional militia were widely deployed on Sunday in one of the districts of Abyan governorate.

According to local sources, the militias have established a number of armed positions and points at the entrances to the city of Lawder from various southern, western and northern sides.

The sources stressed that the “Security Belt” militia repositioned in Lawder to face the threats of terrorist elements affiliated with Islah, after the appointment of a new commander for the militia in the city.

The militiamen elements removed the flags of the Republic of Yemen from various points and roofs of buildings, and replaced them with the flags of the secession with the emblem of the “transitional” funded by UAE.
