Algeria, Iraq call for consensus political solution preserving Yemen’s sovereignty
ALGERIA, Nov. 02 (YPA) – Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Wednesday called all Yemenis to engage in dialogue to agree on political solution.
“I call on the brothers in Yemen to engage in dialogue in order to reach internal consensus solutions,” President Tebboune said in his speech at the Arab Summit held in Algiers.
He added that the crisis in Yemen is still searching for a solution.
On the second day of the Arab Summit taking place in Algeria at its 31st session of the League Council, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, called on all parties to the conflict in Yemen to find a political solution and preserve the country’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Rashid explained that Iraq supports the principle of dialogue and understanding in Yemen, in a way that preserves Yemen’s sovereignty and enhances democracy.
Rashid confirmed that Iraq’s position is still firm about supporting the Palestinians for their legitimate right to establish their state on all Palestinian lands with Al-Quds as its capital.
