SANAA, Nov.02 (YPA) – Iraq’s Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, announced on Wednesday that he hoped during his tenure to continue hosting the Saudi-Iranian talks in Iraq.
In his first press conference since his government was obtained the Parliament’s confidence last Thursday, Al-Sudani added that his administration had received indications of interest in Baghdad continuing to facilitate dialogue between Riyadh and Tehran.
Iraq has hosted several rounds of direct talks between Iranian and Saudi officials during last year, although the talks have so far not yielded significant results.
