UAE buys Socotra airport lands

SOCOTRA, Nov. 02 (YPA) – The UAE occupation continued to make large land purchases on  the  Yemeni occupied Socotra archipelago.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal on Tuesday , based on testimonies of sources

Sources said Emirati entities and personalities had purchased a land located within the campus of Socotra International Airport in the city of Hadibo, the capital of the Socotra archipelago province.

The sources added that the UAE bought a piece of land near the runway from the east after similar purchases in a number of strategic locations on the island.

The UAE operates air and sea flights to the island without any coordination with the Yemeni authorities.
