Iranian President: Shiraz incident exposed enemy’s attempts to destabilize security

SANAA, Oct.31 (YPA) – Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said on Sunday that the terrorist attack incident in Shiraz embodied some of the enemy’s goals aimed at destabilizing security by creating chaos, sedition and assassinations inside the country.

This came during his meeting with the cabinet; Where he expressed his sympathy for the martyrdom of a number of citizens during the attack on the pilgrims of the shrine in Shiraz.

In the meeting Raisi praised the millions of crowds that participated in the funeral ceremonies for the martyrs of this sinful attack in various Iranian cities.

He directed officials in the country to harness all energies to enhance security and stability, provide services to citizens and remove obstacles from the path of trade, education and economic life in the country.

Mr. President considered that the message of the crowds who roamed the streets of Shiraz and other cities to mourn the martyrs of the incident was to condemn the terrorist attack on the shrine of Shah Cheragh, as well as to confront the terrorists and defend the country’s security.
