Martyrs’ Families Care Authority discusses policies, priorities of its tasks

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – The General Authority for the Care of the Martyrs’ Families discussed in its meeting on Thursday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, the policies and founding axes and the priorities of its tasks after its re-formation.

The basic documents regulating the authority’s activity, including the two draft laws for the care of the families of martyrs, and the draft executive regulations of the authority and the Martyrs’ Families Care Fund were reviewed in the meeting.

The meeting approved a number of projects dedicated to the care of the families of martyrs, in addition to the Authority’s projects during the martyr’s anniversary for the year 1444 AH, with a total amount of 13,226,000,000 riyals, in several fields, including the aspect of economic empowerment that ensures a decent and lasting life for the families of the martyr.

The meeting also approved the absorption of the families of the missing persons at the enemy custody, numbering 5,000 missing, within the projects of caring for the families of the martyrs.
