Cold weather expected to hit several Yemeni provinces within coming hours

SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – The relatively cold weather is expected to hit several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours, the National Center of Meteorology said on Wednesday.

The center indicated in its weather bulletin that the weather might be relatively cold in the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, as well as the desert areas and Ibb, Dhalea and Lahj.

The winds may be moderate to active, with speeds on the western Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab, reaching 25 knots.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to preserve their health from the cold weather.
