Judicial Council takes strict proceedings against judges

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Supreme Judicial Council in Sanaa took on Tuesday the strict proceedings against two judges.

In its weekly meeting, headed by, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakil, the council approved the penalty of dismissal of a judge for violating the duties of his judicial position, as well as issuing a warning to another judge for committing violations in his judicial position based on the submission of the Judicial Inspection Authority in accordance with the law.

The meeting agreed to transfer a number of judges to work in some courts of first instance and appeal, based on the offer submitted by the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority.
