Iran calls on Arab countries to conduct joint exercises

SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Commander of the Revolutionary Guards’ Naval Force, Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri, said that a number of Arab countries were invited to participate in the naval maneuvers in the Gulf waters.

“We have invited many countries in the region, especially Iraq, Oman and Qatar, to participate in our naval maneuvers in the Gulf waters,” Tangsiri explained.

The military commander added: “We have the longest beaches overlooking the Gulf, and accordingly suggested to regional countries that the Islamic Republic will provide security for the region.”

He stressed, “Iran defended the security of Syria and Iraq when they were overrun by ISIS, and it extend the hand of friendship and brotherhood to the rest of the countries as well.”
“But we will respond to each other if we are attacked,” he added. Iran have many modern and advanced weapons, especially missiles, precision drones and advanced defense systems.
