Zionist enemy imposes closure on West Bank, Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct.17 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy authorities imposed on Sunday a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

The Zionist enemy media reported that the imposition of the closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip began at four o’clock  Sunday afternoon and will continue until midnight on Monday.

A state of extreme tension prevails among the soldiers of the Zionist enemy, in the wake of the escalation of Palestinian commando operations in the West Bank, which last week resulted in the killing of two Zionist soldiers, while a third soldier is still lying in hospital in a serious condition.

This is the third time that a security cordon has been imposed on the West Bank since the end of last month; The first is on the occasion of the Hebrew “New Year’s Day,” the second on the occasion of the Hebrew “Feast of Atonement,” and the third on the occasion of the “Throne Festival,” which began a week ago.

It is noteworthy that closing the West Bank and restricting the movement of Palestinian citizens during the Jewish holidays has become a Zionist tradition, affecting tens of thousands of Palestinian workers who work with permits issued by the enemy authorities.
