SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Head of the Prisoners’ Affairs Committee in Sanaa, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada, revealed that the visit of the national delegation to the Saudi prisons to check on the prisoners was successful.
“Our delegation corrected the database that was considered problematic regarding the implementation of the agreement,” said Al-Mortada in a news statement on Saturday, stressing that the last list, through which prisoners will be exchanged between Sanaa and the Saudi side, was signed.
“There are still some problems with the local parties affiliated with the coalition,” he added. “We talked about this with the Saudi team, which promised to solve the problem.”
He expressed his hope that these visits would be a first step in the full implementation of the agreement and also within the framework of ending this humanitarian file.
