Telecommunications Corporation condemns targeting its branch in Amran

 SANAA, June 25 (YPA) – The General Corporation for Telecommunications condemned the targeting he targeting of building of its branch in Amran province by two of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition airstrikes.

A ministry official told the Yemen Press agency that the two airstrikes caused a total destruction of the technical and storage buildings and completely destroyed the building and offices of the Corporation’s branch in the province,  disrupting the main Central  from service.

The official blamed the aggression countries the responsibility of targeting of facilities and sites of telecommunications and telephone networks as civil service facilities, stressing on that the attack is a war crime, and contrary to the conventions and international treaties related to the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The official stressed on the organization’s legal rights, calling on the United Nations and international organizations and bodies to held their moral and humanitarian responsibilities and immediately intervene to stop targeting communications and service facilities and protect its civil and humanitarian character.
