Hamas: Truss’s pro-Zionist statements are “aggression” against Palestinian people

GAZA, Oct. 05 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” on Tuesday described British Prime Minister Liz Truss’s statements as “great Zionism” and represent “an aggression” against the Palestinian people.

Member of the movement’s leadership abroad, Sami Abu Zuhri, said that “the statements of British Prime Minister Liz Truss, who said that she is a great supporter of Zionism, represent an alignment with the Zionist occupation and an aggression against our people.”

The movement’s website quoted Abu Zuhri as saying that these statements represent “a continuation of Britain’s crime against our national cause that began since the Balfour Declaration more than a hundred years ago.”

“Such people who provide cover to kill innocent children are a disgrace to humanity,” he added.

Truss had said, during a meeting with conservatives from her party who support the Israeli occupation, that she is “Zionist and very enthusiastic about the Zionist entity.”
