LHAJ, Oct. 03 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and two others were wounded on Monday in armed confrontations in Lahj province, southern Yemen.
Media sources said the clashes erupted between the UAE-backed militias and other gunmen, following disputes over a piece of land in the center of Lahj.
The clashes are still raging between the two sides, which prompted the owners of some shops to close due to the expansion of the confrontations.
Lahj is witnessing a great security chaos in light of the spread of militias, armed gangs and bandits.
